FAQ
- A. You pay, I bake! Payment is required to reserve your class seat - trust me, it’ll be a blast! Please read below for more information regarding refunds along with no-shows and late arrivals.
- Age Restrictions. You must be 14 years old to attend these classes alone. With a guardian, we allow ages of 10 and up. Guardians must purchase a class ticket and remain with their underage baker through the duration of the class. Sorry - no spectator seating per insurance regulations. Please note that some of the baking utensils we’ll use in class are sharp and pointy.
- Refunds. There are no refunds on class tickets. If you are unable to make it, we can help! We will package your cookies and icing into a box, email you the PowerPoint used in class, and you can pick up your cookies to decorate at home.
- Class Cancellation. Classes may be canceled at the discretion of the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund, including your ticketing fees.
- Attendee Minimum. Classes must reach an attendee minimum of 4. If the minimum is not met, the class host may cancel the class, and you’ll receive a 100% refund, an apology, and a wish that we’ll be able to meet at a future class.
- Allergens. Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: Flour, butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, imitation flavoring and vanilla. Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: Wheat, dairy nuts/tree nuts. Please consider your allergies before registering.
- Sickness Clause. Sick on the day of class? Please contact me ahead of the class, and I’ll box your set for porch pick-up at a future date. Now go get some rest!
- Weather Policy. Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
- Photography Release. Say cheese! While you can opt out of a close-up, please note that the host may take photos during class for future promotional materials and to post to social media.
